The Kin anniversary is on February 20th. Kin Brian and I shared a great moment on this date in 1990 when I was creating a fund raising effort for Cystic Fibrosis by having White Rose Craft & Nurseries (remember that company?) propagate a unique rose. Unfortunately the crop that year was decimated by adverse weather later that spring.
On February 20th, 1990, Kin in Pickering held a Founders Night event where Brian used his connections to bring Founder Hal to our meeting. Founder Hal was 90 or so years old and Brian took on the job of bring him to the meeting and then returning him home. The honour of having Founder Hal come to Pickering will always by a fond memory of mine and it only happened because of Kin Brian.
Ena, the club was better for Brian being a member. Those he touched are better for knowing him. May your memories strengthen you. Brian will be missed by the members of the Kinsmen & Kinette Club of Pickering.

I met Brian and Ena over 25 years ago through Kin. I remember serving with Brian on District Council and all the times we drove to different places and the fun we had. The dances, the parties and yes, passing Brian and Ena at the Casino after leaving deposits there! Although we lost touch over the years, I will always remember the good times we had. Brian, you and Gerry can now get a card game going in heaven. Ena, I know exactly what you are going through as Gerry left us almost 2 months ago. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. We are always here for you.

I met Brian and Ena in 2012 my first year in the park. I always enjoyed our conversations, particularly Brian's spirited ones, while sitting on their deck. Both Brian and Ena were most happy when they were planning events for the kids and paid for much of it themselves. Brian was one of a kind and I, like many others, will miss him. Rest in peace Brian and big hugs to Ena.

Brian was a very passionate man. In my dealings with him and Ena at the park I was always impressed by their commitment to whatever they were involved in. He had many ideas and would always offer me enthusiastic feedback with regards to the events that I was involved in. I miss his character at the park. I am certain that his family will miss his presence in their lives

Remembering Brian. What an amazing man. He put a lot of time and effort into organizing family events at the trailer park. He really loved seeing how happy the kids were playing and having fun. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with Ena.
