Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, with family by her side on Friday, September 2, 2016, at the age of 66. Predeceased by her parents Martha and Michael Slaney. Leaving to mourn her husband, Ray Hennebury; her fur baby Joey; Sisters Sheila Slaney and Dora Muise (Clarence); Brothers Vincent Slaney, Ignatius Slaney (Jeanette), Eric Slaney (Marguerite); Michael Slaney (Darlene), and Terry Slaney (Margaret); Many nieces and nephews, and in-laws. Carrie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. A memorial visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 1-3 p.m. A Memorial Service in the Chapel to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation or to the SPCA.
