I would like to express my condolences to the family of Carolyn.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn at work (ODSP). I knew her much less than her downtown co-workers did, but one thing is for sure, like Robert shares, her smile was beautiful and she had a calming and reassuring disposition. Lovely lady.
May she rest in peace. Sorry for your loss.

I will never forget my first day at ODSP.
I was so nervous and intimidated.
Luckily, when I was shown to my desk, there was a warm, smiling face to welcome me.

Carolyn had an infectious smile, and a gentle presence.
She helped me make it through the first week.
She was kind, gentle soul – but she was no push over.
She told me the truth – what to expect and who to avoid.
Six years later, and I still remember that first day.

I'm sorry that I never got to thank you, Carol.
I'm going to miss those conversations and getting your ‘take' on things.

I hope you have found peace, but know that you are truly missed.
