With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cataldo Milazzo on January 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Proud Italian born in San Cataldo, Caltanissetta in Sicily to parents Cosimo and Vincenza. Cataldo is reunited in heaven with his parents, his beloved wife Giuseppa (1997) and his siblings, Maria, Salvatore and Catalda. Cherished father to Enza (Sergio Goncalves) and Cosimo. Proud Nonno to Johnny (fiancée Ashley Kozbur) and Nicholas. Cataldo will be forever missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Cataldo enjoyed reading his Corriere Canadese daily, tending to his vegetable garden, passionate about the Juventus football team and loved classic Italian music and films. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Jerrett Funeral Home (1141 St. Clair Ave., W, Toronto) from 2-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am from St. Mary of the Angels Church (1481 Dufferin St., at Davenport Rd., Toronto.). Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum (4570 Yonge St., at 401). In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Cataldo to the Canadian Cancer Society.
