To Cheryl's husband, daughters, mom and brothers, I am deeply sadden to here of the passing of Cheryl. Cheryl was one of my closest friend in high school. unfortunately, as with other high school friends, we drifted apart.

Cheryl was truly a remarkable person. As Lilac said, she had a contagous laugh and was a good friend. Although it has been several years since I saw her, I truly do miss her.

May her soul rest in peace.

I enjoyed all the times I spent with Cheryl in the choir at Faith C.C. as a fellow alto we had great laughs together.  It was wonderful to see her family grow with the girls, who were the lights of her life along with Tony.  We enjoyed Thai dinners and our talks.  Cheryl, you were amazing and will never be forgotten. All my love.

God speed, Cheryl Marie.  I didn't meet you in person, but from reading your profile in Ravelry and all the wonderful guest book comments, I see you are an amazing woman, to say the least.  You are greatly missed by so many.  You can find rest, love and joy with our Heavenly Father.  God bless you and your dear family.

Cheryl was a member on Raverly a Knit and Crochet Online Form.  Through her blogs, her participation in the forms and groups she inspired and helped others learn to knit and crochet.   She imparted a part of herself in what she shared with others and her legacy will live on through those she touched.

I had the pleasure of only knowing Cheryl for 3 short years. During that time I really got to know her especially over the past 3 summers that we spent at the cottage during our W.O. W. (Women of Westview) weekends.  During that time I learned a lot about her.  I consider myself very privileged to have spent some very close one-on-one, personal time with Cheryl .
We would sit, just the two of us, as everyone else was already sleeping, into the wee hours of the night chatting.  I always enjoyed listening to her tell me all about her life; how/where she grew up; how she met the love of her life on a cruise ship and how romantic that was; how much she loved her family just to name a few things.  Cheryl, I will miss our “quiet times” but I will never forget them or you.  Tony, Rachel and Roxanne – my thoughts and prayers are with you.  God Bless.

I have so many wonderful memories of Cheryl.  After I began my relationship with Cheryl, we discovered that our mothers worked together a while back in the hospital industry.  Then later on learned that my mother also worked with Cheryl's older brother, Robert.  Cheryl, Liz Luyks and I went on a vacation together.  Wow, what a wonderful time we had in the Grand Bahamas!  We went for two weeks and had the best time.  Remember the fishing boat Liz?  Cheryl will be truly missed by those she touched.  Cheryl and Tony are the godparents to my twin boys, Liam and Connor.  Liam and Cheryl are together now (and as I write this, I truly miss them both dearly) and will be watching over us in the years to come.  Tony, Rachel and Roxanne, we are truly sorry for your loss and I hope you can find peace in the days, weeks, months and years to come.
