My name is Joe Levitan.  I shared a room with Chris at TGH before I had Whipple surgery back in April , and visited him  few times after my surgery.  He was always cheerful and eager to offer me any help he could whether it was medical marijauna, the health care system , what seat to buy when I had a "wound"in my butt, etc.  I know he was very ill, and I am sorry to hear that he passed.

Chris showed the world how not to let an illness beat you down.  Nobody can stop what the illness will do to you physically but it never took down his loving spirit, his love for his friends and never made him so tired that he did not want a visit or a call.  Fly my angel.  Thanks for being my friend.

Chris was part of a unique grade 5/6 class that I taught at Norman Cook Jr.P.S. around 1987-8. I remember having so many conversations with him during foot hockey and recesses. He was a very supportive, kind  and friendly student, part of a caring class. RIP Chris.

I remember going with Chris to Hulkamania at Exhibition Stadium back in 1984. When we got there, our seats didn't exist. The seating plan was wrong and a whole section was eliminated. However, we met a security officer that we knew and he supplied us with two 2nd row floor seats for the whole card.  One of the best nights I had in my life with a truly great friend. Rest in peace kid. you will be missed.
