Deeply saddened by the loss of my pappou Chris. With both of my grandfathers having passed away before I was born, pappou Chris wholeheartedly stepped into the grandfatherly role for as long as I can remember, always going above and beyond to make sure I was loved, supported, and just a little bit spoiled. He was an example of tenacity and perseverance, both emotionally after enduring the loss of a child and his beloved wife, and physically during the last few years of his life. Sending love and prayers to John; may your memories bring you peace at this time, and know that you should be so incredibly proud of the way you cared so tenderly for your parents.

Beloved Uncle Christo, may you rest in peace with your dearly departed wife Vivi, son Peter and mother Dimitro.
Your house was the first one we lived in when we immigrated to Canada in 1966. I still remember the fun we had there and the Christmas get-togethers you hosted for the Chronis families. You always made us laugh with your marvelous sense of humour. I`m so glad we got to chat recently; it was truly heartwarming. You talked about the love for the Chronis kin. May God rest your soul.
My dear cousin John, you are a saint, being a full-time care-giver to both your parents is no easy feat. You did it with love, compassion and dedication. You are truly amazing and I wish only the very best for you always! Love you and God Bless.

Where does one begin. Growing up so close to the Chronis family, and watching the bond between my late Father Harry, not only as brother-in-laws but as best friends. teaching us that family always comes first, to be strong, courageous and proud.
My Theo Xristo had a unique sense of humor, shared his love, gave so much support and instilled confidence in who I was as a person never judging., and for that I thank him. Theo showed strength and perseverance right to his last breath.
Knowing he is on his journey to re-unite with our departed loved ones is a sense of comfort.
Rest in loving peace Theo,
My bestest an amazing cousin John, what a pillar of strength, a rock, doing his due diligence as a caring, loving son, making sure both ailing parents had so much care and attention day after day.
You allowed them to keep their dignity to the end.
You are a shining example to all of us, may God continue to shine light on our path of life that awaits you now. It's your turn.

To my amazing father: Thank you for working very hard for your loving family so we never had to worry about having nutritious food to eat every day. You had so much pride, and for that I thank you as I was able to hold my head up high with the same pride you projected.

During the last two years of your life, we became closer, especially when we sat on the veranda during the beautiful spring and summer months. Our talks regarding your childhood in Greece, your decision to immigrate to Canada for a better life, and the way you met your soon to be wife, and later, my incredible mother was so enlightening. When we lost the "rock" of the family two years ago, and prior to that, your first born son, being my very wise older brother, it was clearly evident that you missed them both so very much.

You can now rest peacefully my dear father, and the fact that you are not suffering from any more debilitating pain makes your passing a little easier for me to deal with.

As with our late family members, I will miss you very much, and think of you every day.

Thank you again and again for the never ending love and support throughout the decades. I was so proud to call you my father.

God bless you. Until we meet again.

Your loving son John
