To Bruce, Fran, Jill, Patty and your children, relatives and friends, 

I wish to share my deepest condolences as best I can from so far away. The kind, giving and warm personality Clara, or Mrs. McDaniel as I always have referred to her as, has been a source of inspiration and aspiration to me and probably all those who had the good fortune to have known her. She will continue to live on within the 100's whom she touched spiritually and emotionally. The Beaches Community has suffered a great loss but can celebrate her tremendous contributions. I will miss her dearly but will always remember her as the angel that she was.

Growing up on Kenilworth I will always remember your Mom out tending to her garden or sitting on the porch. She will be greatly missed by the many people who knew and loved her and especially by all the neighbours on Kenilworth who were so very fond of her.

My heart fell when I learned of Clara's passing.  While I understand there is a time for everyone, the planet was a far better place with her in it.

I am so very sorry to hear about Clara. Happy to hear she was surrounded by loved ones, however. 
I won't be the first  - or the last - to say this but your mother was without a doubt the kindest, most inclusive, and most cheerful person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Her smile lit up the room and lifted the heart. The world is now officially a lesser place with her gone, but she certainly left her mark.

My love and condolences to the McDaniel family, Clara was one of the most caring and loving women I have ever known. I remember being 5 or six years old and playing in the back yard of her home and her bringing out popsicles for all of us kids. kind words and smiles were her specialty. She will be missed by alot of people and I will always remember her when I think of Kew Beach and my childhood.

Aunt Clara was one of the kindest souls on this earth. She was the repository of the Campbell family history and always shared her boundless knowledge willingly. She greeted us with open arms and a fabulous smile. Even in the face of the trials of life, she remained positive, upbeat and an inspiration to all. Carl has many cherished childhood memories of staying with Aunt Clara, Uncle Bruce and the McDaniel "wild ones". She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by our family.

Mrs. McDaniel was a shining light... The definition of a lady... and loving kindness embodied. She died encircled by the love & life she created & nurtured. Her amazing children and grandchildren a testament to what a steady love and encouragement can create. A life lived long and well. I will miss her along with the multitudes of people who's hearts Clara touched. But as the Irish say... Death leaves a scar that will never heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.  
I am fortunate to have many memories of this truly great lady. I will carry her in my heart always. Thank you to the McDaniel's for allowing me to share their mother all these years. I'll owe you all forever.

Last fall my dear Aunt Clara sent me a dried up evening primrose through the mail, with the root intact which I planted right away and this year I was so pleased to see it had made it through the harsh winter,  Aunt Clara will always live on in my flower garden.   She will always be remembered.

I will always have such fond memories of Clara and her epic family gatherings.  She was such a caring and compassionate woman who raised four amazing children who share the same wonderful qualities.  I will miss the long chats with Clara and those big bright eyes.  May her soul rest in peace. Connie
