Concetta Perri

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Concetta Perri on July 17, 2025, in Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 88. Born on August 8, 1936, in Rende Cosenza, Italy, Concetta lived a life rooted in love, tradition, and unwavering strength.

Concetta is now reunited with her beloved husband, Gaspare (1990), and cherished daughter Francesca (2020), whose memories she held close to her heart every day.

She leaves behind a legacy of love as the devoted mother of Marcella (Luciano), Romano (Goretti), and Frank (Nicole). She was the proud Nonna of Alessandro (Izzah), Michael (Alyson), Samantha, Sabrina (Jonathan), Jordan (Julia), Amanda (Brianna), and Evelyn, and the joyful Bisnonna of Marco, Matteo, and James.

She will be deeply missed by her loving siblings, Francesco (Rita) and Anna (Eugenio), along with her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Concetta was the heart of her family — a true matriarch whose strength and warmth were felt in every room she entered. Known for her incredible homemade cooking, especially her unforgettable lasagna and pizza, Concetta's kitchen was always full of love, laughter, and delicious aromas. She found joy in the simple pleasures — knitting, listening to her Italian radio programs, and being surrounded by the people she loved most.

Her presence was powerful, her spirit unshakable, and her love enduring. She leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
