His first job was that of a paper boy delivering newspapers for the Toronto Star. From there he got a job at Sam The Record Man where his love of music flourished. While attending the University of Waterloo he worked as a DJ at the Bombshelter and CKMS and then also worked for BENT bringing bands to Waterloo and doing the sound setup for the various bands. After finishing university he worked for Lever Brothers and later UniLever working as a Director of Audit. After retiring from UniLever, Craig then worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with Metrolinx. He sadly did not get to enjoy his retirement years.
Craig earned his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo. He also became a Canadian Beer Judge and won multiple awards from them.
Craig loved everything in life and was constantly coming up with new brilliant ideas. He will be remembered by everyone for creating the infamous Too Hot croquet classic, his amazing home beer brewing, his love of golf, horse racing, music and movies, sciences, and animals. His world travels were vast and he was constantly thinking of his next travel destination. He loved fine foods, wines and of course beer. He was a most amazing man and his biggest love was in raising his daughter Heather to be the fabulous person she is today.
Craig is survived by his common law spouse Maureen, his daughters Heather and Nora, his mother Doris and his sister Carol. He was a beloved uncle to Zack and Alannis and is fondly remembered by many cousins. Craig is preceded in death by his father Robert.
A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined at a later date.
