Darren Lyle MacDonald

Born on November 9, 1966, he was the son of Verna and Lyle MacDonald. He grew up in Toronto, where he developed a love for hockey, aspiring to be a pro player. Later in life he enjoyed various hobbies and interests such as boxing, motorcycles, watches and art.

He was a hard worker, eventually becoming a skilled roofer with his own business. He retired early due to a workplace injury and spent his remaining years exploring other interests.

He was a father, brother, uncle and friend to many. He is survived by his children Luke, Natasha and Madyson, siblings Barbara, Brenda, Cindy, Graig and Ted, and Nephews Dylan and Lyle. He will be remembered by all who knew him.

A memorial service for Darren will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at St. John's Norway Cemetery & Crematorium, 256 Kingston Rd, Toronto, ON M4L 1S7.
