David, 
You are so missed in my day to day life.  You were a fantastic boss, a terrific mentor but most importantly, a great and dear friend.

I will never forget you and hope that you are at peace now, watching over us all.

David Beckley: Extraordinarily intelligent, gut-bustlingly funny, brutally honest and kind to the core. When I grow up I want to be just like you. I'll miss you always buddy.

David, our time spent together as young kids in Midhurst are happy ones. You were my best friend. Although life has a way of separating friends over the years, I can honestly say I thought of you often.  I'm very happy that we re-connected recently and only wish we could have caught up on all the years that have gone by in person.

My thoughts go to your partner, Dave and your families. The Midhurst gang will miss you. You will always have a special place in my heart.

My Dear cousin David: I have loved u n urs from birth. I remember as kids I was I was the babysitter watching over all of u. Good job they would say not knowing we were playing on the train tracks! Then Mom n Dad  moved to Midhurst to become country folk! Wow David Debi n Steven we were crazy kids no matter ehere we lived! As the years went by David and Dave,best guy in the world. I love ya Dave! grew a very successful computer business together. We have always stayed close and enjoyed many occasions together including downtown lunches at the QAF restaurants or just hanging out looking at life's photos. We have always shared annual cousins reunions. My last wonderful memory was texting David Happy 50th birthday cousin! But suddenly David hasnow gone.  So so sad to lose someone so smart caring and loving. See you in our next life Cous. I love you and we will all miss your "Davidness"! I'll be seing you. Dear David 
I write this letter to you not only as your brother but as my best friend. You have always been there for me in both the good times and yes more importantly the bad. You have always made me strive to make myself a better person. You will always have a special place in my heart and your memory will alow me to go on. I was very saddened to hear that we have lost an old, dear friend, way way too soon.  Our "Midhurst Gang" was a close knit group and I have so many fond memories of you.  We shared a lot of laughs when we taught gymnastics together at Forest Hill.  I remember one summer you gave me a word to remember and if I could recite that word to you on the first day of school in September (Grade 7, I believe), you would buy me a "mood" tee-shirt just like the one you had.  I remembered the word and still remember the word, "rustisbybogofoyd". You didn't buy me the tee-shirt though. LOL  I think I bugged you all through highschool for that shirt. ha ha

Dear David,
You were one of the most brilliant people I have ever known. Your intelligence and view of life was shared with me and deeply appreciated always since the day you moved in next door to me. I will treasure always the deep chats we shared almost daily over a smoke and beer in your backyard. I proudly watched you grow your 'baby', your business so successfully with your loving husband over the years. Upon each return to Toronto in the last ten years,I cherished our times catching up, sharing your insane sense of humor and our shared thoughts on so many intense things about life. I will always appreciate the help you gave me over my life.  You were a very giving person to so many. I am extremely sadden at your sudden passing. I am sad for your husband, Dave, your brother, Steve and all of your family's loss. We had talked intimately about 'the concept of death' and your words and voice come clearly to my thoughts. Your views, unconventional perhaps to some people, come to my mind at this troubled moment so far from home. Tearfully, I ponder, what would David say at this tragic junction? What would David want? Your words come to my mind. I see your smirking, knowing, wise face. I lovingly hear your voice telling me how to handle this terrible moment. You will continue to guide me and all others close to you. You may be gone, but you will continue to live on, 'inspiring' us as you always did while while you were among us. I love you David and thank you for the gifted time we shared in this existence, called life. XO

David you were always a joy and an inspiration.  I have so many memories with you woven tightly within.  I so wish we had all been together again at Kim's this summer.....what wonderful memories and laughs we could have shared.  Know that you may be gone from this life, but you live on in the hearts and memories of all your Midhurst friends.

Remembering you David.  The wonderful, happy, fun times we all had together as neighbours and such close friends, on Gerrard Street and in our travels together.  I will long treasure the memory of your kind, generous spirit and your sense of humour.  Love you.

I was very sad to hear my old and dear Midhurst friend has past away far too soon.   I have many great memories and  recall funny stories about a group of kids who grew up together and found their way in the world.
