Been thinking of you alot lately and missing our morning calls, your straight talk, your sense of humor,  your friendship. Your birthday is just around the corner and although you are not here on earth I really hope you get to celebrate up in heaven with some sweet potato fries, a vegan burger, a cocktail and of course a long run. It just so happens me and the girls will be meeting for a long overdue dinner date on your birthday and we will salute you. Your birthday will always be special to me , it's the day that God gifted all of us who loved you with your essence and your love. Dear friend,  you are missed but still very much an inspiration to me and those who knew you. 
PS Simba and Chloe are beautiful members of mine and Noel's family and I will forever be grateful to you for bringing my little "Kitties" into our lives.

Diane's spirit and determination will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers goes out to Gerrard and the entire family through this difficult time. I'll never forget our meeting with Bart Yasso at the 2013 Wineglass Marathon in Corning NY. 

I'll definitely miss her bright light, personality and words of inspiration, especially right before a race.

Thought  I'd share one of the many great memories I have of my friend Diane, her sisters may remember this one...I like to call this "The Day Diane Almost Joined the Carnie's" It was Beaverton Fall Fair and we went as we did every year, only this time Diane did'nt want to leave, of course there was also a very cute boy involved....anyhow we did leave or I thought 'we' did, apparently Diane decided she wanted to see more of the fair and I got a phone call that night asking me if I knew where Diane was, you see she was not actually suppose to be with me, guess I was a bad influence lol. I had no idea where she was so I went out looking, I think my mom drove me around, anyhow I found her at the Fairgrounds..."Diane you have to go home", your family is worried sick",  "no" she said, "they won't let me hang around with you so I am going to travel with the Fair" , I finally got her to go home and got a phone call awhile later asking me to come to her house " Dianna will not talk to us unless you are here"  so over I went and I guess you could say the 'negotiations' began.....boy was that girl stubborn, guess that's why we got along so well lol. Long story short from that day forward we were inseparable..as always....but now with her family's blessing...mostly lol.
Although we had'nt been together in a long time I will miss you my sweet friend and I will never forget you or our wonderful friendship. Run with God my friend....til we met again!!

My heart just breaks for your loss my friend

Diane had the natural ability to pull the best out of you...just when you thought you had already laid it all out there... a great person to know!

Diane and I were at the end of a 37 km training run, just 300 meters short of our goal, completely fatigued, but she insisted on adding an extra loop to make up the difference. I won't forget her determination. My condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to Diane's family.  I shared many of Diane's face book postings and grew to know Diane through the Brampton Running Room's site . Diane was a wonderful influence to many in our running community.  Our thoughts and support are with Gerrard and family.

To Gerrard and family. So sorry to hear about Diane's passing. She will be greatly missed at Sauble. In our thoughts and prayers, the Chilwell family.

Although I never knew Diane ... I am grateful to know her sister; Karen.... And I honour Diane's life on this earth... As she has been a great inspiration to many people and now has big wings to watch over her family...

Diane, you have inspired me in so many ways to be healthier, to support others and to just be a better person.
