Domenica, aka Chella is now reunited with her beloved husband Nicola which she so dearly missed and her predeceased siblings.
In 1967 she bravely embarked on a new and unknown journey to Toronto, leaving behind her precious parents, siblings, language and traditions with the single hope to provide a promising future for her children. Every fibre of her existance was about her family. Always a loving and devoted Mother and fiercely proud of her children Anna (Domenic), Grace, Frances, Mike (Mary), Teresa (Gerry).
She so loved babies and children and was happiest to be nonna to her cherished grandchildren; Christian (Brenna), Jacqueline (Mike), Alessandra (Richard), Elisa, Amanda, Adriano (Nieko), Alexander, Samantha, Nicholas. And old nonna, as she was lovingly known to her great grandchildren; Elia, Bianca, Zachary, Celine, Cole, and Wyatt.
She welcome anyone that crossed her path and did all she could to make them feel like family, whether it was a sewing project, babysitting or a simple offering of her famous focaccia. She will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by friends and family near and far. A special thanks to the staff at the maple centre for their warm & attentive care.
