

Ishi Don Parfait was born on July 13, 1993, in Burundi, and later made his home in Toronto, Canada. He was a beloved son, brother, and family member whose life was marked by quiet strength, gentleness, and a deep love for his family.
Ishi was a man of peace. Soft-spoken and calm in spirit, his life reflected a calling toward unity and reconciliation among those around him. He loved his family deeply and desired that they remain united. His life reflected a commitment to peace, humility, and love. values that will continue to speak through his memory.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Chantal, and his siblings Ruth, Aaron, Cornelie, and Gloria. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of peace and unity will remain in our hearts.
Though we mourn his passing, we find comfort in the Word of God, which says: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
We entrust Ishi into the loving hands of God.
A visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, Ontario, M1K2B5, on February 17, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Graveside service will take place at Thornton Cemetery ( 1200 Thornton Road N, Oshawa, L1J 0C9) on the same date from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
