I am sitting here in shock.  I just found out about Don's death via Facebook.  Dear sweet Don - we worked together every day for three years at the North York Rent Review office.  He was my friend and confidante.  He helped me through some rough times.  My condolences to the Radford family.  I will always remember Don as a kind, sweet soul.  May the happy memories of his life sustain you through this difficult time.

Our thoughts are with Dons family at this time of sorrow.  We will miss him up at the lake.  We enjoyed having a drink with him on a hot sunny afternoon and a swim in the lake.  He was always busy when he came up to the lake.  He enjoyed working around his cottage.  He provided us with many amusing stories.  He has been a friend of us since the early 70's.  Peace, Don.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

This past week has brought back many memories of our time together. I have to say that in spite of the very sad week it has been for so many, most of those memories have managed to put a smile on my face and in my heart.

Well cuz it's hard to believe your gone as I was explaining to Ryan who you were. At Aunt Molly's funeral he does remember you as you were so kind to him. Letting him get you coffees almost every second and that made me so proud that family would take so good care of family. Back in the 80's it was Don and Bob Arsenault who trained me mostly. It was a great way to learn. Don had a way of flipping a question over and seeing it with humour and a unique perspective. That philosophy has helped me immensely over the years, but more than that, it helped the ministry and everyone that worked with him to get through. The twisted irreverence, remarkable sense of humour and a sardonic yet energetic zeal for life are what made Don a great co-worker and a fine person. I will miss him, as will we all.

Don was a great friend. I knew Don as he lived in a building my partner and I were managing. We quickly became friends and spent many a fun-filled weekend at his cabin in Bancroft.  His keen wit and sense of humor were only 2 of his attributes. He had remarkable depth and he is truly going to be missed. Rest Peacefully Don. Our sincerest condolences to your family.

I will miss his wit and sense of humour and how he made us laugh and really cared about the people he knew.  Every day was special while working with him because he made us feel special.  My condolences to his family and friends.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Having only worked with Don on a few occassions, he has given me the opportunity to see his charm and wit.  He will be fondly remembered by my co-workers and myself.

I met Don 11 years ago when I joined the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal and he had me laughing right away!  Don was a dear man, full of life and he had a wonderful sense of humour.  I really enjoyed our friendhsip and working with him.  I will miss Don terribly but I am a better person for knowing him.  His family is in my thoughts.
