Peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved brother of Marie Verity, Ursula Reid, Fr. Wallace Platt CSB, Norman Platt and Jeannette Windfeld. Predeceased by his brothers Robert Platt, Fr. Edwin Platt, Hugh Platt and John Platt and his sisters Ruth McGraw and Anne Platt. Proud member of 1950s Canadian Davis Cup Teams. Friends may call on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, Toronto. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Corpus Christi Church, 16 Lockwood Rd., Toronto. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
