Dear Angela and the extended Belperio Family, we will cherish all the fond memories of Donato as a kind gentle soul always willing to help others. He will be remembered as an avid gardener with the best figs in Toronto. He raised two great gentlemen in Mike and Joe through careful nurturing much like his beloved garden. May he rest in peace and bring you strength during this difficult period in your lives.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Donato. Having worked with him I know he will missed by family and friends. He was always a gentleman and had a great sense of humour. My condolences to his family.

Mi rattrista dirti solo ora quello che hai rappresentato per me.. Il destino ci ha fatto incontrare una sola volta, ma tu hai sempre fatto parte della mia vita anche se a distanza. Le telefonate che ci facevamo iniziavano sempre col tuo "Hello", "come stai?", "ti passo la zia"..e in quella voce riconoscevo l'uomo che eri.. Poi, quando finalmente ti ho incontrato, il tuo sguardo fiero ha confermato tutto quello che ho sempre pensato: sei stato un uomo d'altri tempi, pieno di valori, dedito alla famiglia, forte, determinato e amorevole.. nell' orto della vostra casa hai portato un po' della nostra Italia.
Grazie perché sei sempre stato la famiglia che zia non ha potuto avere vicino.. l'hai protetta, coccolata, le hai fatto da padre, madre, fratello.
Sono sicura che in questo momento sei tra gli angeli più belli del cielo e mi sei ancora più vicino!
