I am so shocked and filled with sorrow at the passing of Donny. Donny was a faithful supporter of my non-profit for seniors and disabled. We were to make contact that week to talk about the store closing and our annual donation. It was difficult enough to imagine our neighbourhood without Nettleship's but no one can wrap their minds around our community without our friend Donny. My last conversation with him was about his retirement. Please accept my sincere condolences, Donny will be so missed by so many. Vickie Rennie

Harold and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family Stephanie. We hadn't seen Donnie in several years, but remember him as a very nice young man. From all the msgs that I have been reading here it seems that he continued growing into a very sweet well loved man.

Donny was a special man. A true neighbour, always ready to lend a helping hand whether clearing neighbourhood sidewalks of snow or keeping an extra set of house keys in store for those times when you got locked out. He will be missed.

You are one of the very well most kind person Ive ever met ever since moving to cabbagetown. You never says No to any favor and always willing to give a lending hand. You will be deeply miss and the sound of your mini plow truck in winter. Rest in Peace my friend.

All my love to Stephanie and all of the Taggart family. All of you were such a big part of belonging to the Cabbagetown neighbourhood, and we will always have such wonderful memories of your cottage, baseball, life on Parliament Street and so much more. It is hard to think of Cabbagetown without Donny. Carolyn Barber
