Dora Cristina Cortese

Dora is now reunited with her beloved husband, Michele. Together, they built a beautiful family, which was always their greatest pride.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Anna (Barry Rodaro), Relia (Angelo Trinca), Mary (Bruno Di Carmine), Cathy (Roberto Marcoccia), and Franco (Teresa Cortese).

She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren: Anthony; Melissa (Anthony); Alicia (Thomas); Renato (Alyssa); Joseph; Daniel (Amanda); Michael (Melissa); Christopher (Melisa); Matthew (Jessica); Amanda (Roberto); David (Karen); Michael; and Carlo.

Dora was also a proud great-grandmother to Mia, Noah, Anthony, Gabriel, Dante, Alessandro, Romeo, Adrian, Aria, Mila, Damiano, Ciara, and Kiana.

She will always be remembered for making her perfect homemade lasagna, her famous fried meatballs and her sweet, joy-filled sprinkled cookies, lovingly shared with her family and friends. Dora’s kitchen was her favourite place, which was always filled with comfort, laughter, togetherness. Gathering with her family around her kitchen table, she enjoyed countless home cooked meals and a fresh glass of wine.

Dora created a home filled with warmth, love, and understanding, always putting her family first. Her nurturing and selfless devotion will remain her lasting legacy.

She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all her family and friends.
