We Have lost a Warrior
Doran Major was born in Honolulu, Hawaii May 20, 1961 to William Victor Major affectionately known as ‘The Bull‘ and his lovely wife Josephine Major affectionately known as ‘Spenny’. Doran is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Davinder; Phenomenal daughters India and Sydney Major. Doran could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. At a very young age Doran found his first love, sports. The football field is where Doran was most at home. He attended Biloxi High and then walked on to Memphis State University and made the team. His path then took him to play for The Memphis Showboats and then onto Philadelphia Eagles. His final football stop would be with The Toronto Argonauts where he spent five years with his Warrior brothers. Doran is also survived by his brother Victor (Yvette) Chicago, IL; uncle Robert (Grace) Major, Columbus, OH; aunts Marlene (John) Pagett, Coschocton, OH, Eleanor (Joseph) Johnson, Lewis Center, OH, Mary (Michael) Jack, New York, NY, Joe and Jean Elmore, Columbus, OH.
