Doris Adina Bourne was born in Edey Village, Christ Church, Barbados, West Indies on September 30, 1925 and passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital, Scarborough, Ontario on November 21, 2013.
She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Carville and Haskell. She was the loving sister of Leighton, Patricia, Orson and Anthony; sister-in-law to Rosemary, Gloria and Regina Bourne and Tony Parsons (Canada) and Shirley Bourne (USA); cousin of Loletta Springer and Trenton Douglas. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces Joanne, Tracy, Nadia, Kimberley, Antonia, Gail, and Jacqueline (Canada) and Suezette (USA); nephews Shane and Darrell (Canada), Tyrone and Russell (USA); and Great Aunt of 21.
Cremation to follow.
The casket will be closed during the viewing. In memory of Doris, donations to the Christ Church Scarborough Village (55 Markham Road, Scarborough, ON) would be appreciated.
