You may have not been blood to me but you were still my grandma dot, you helped raise me just as I was your grandchild, but I never got away with anything with you. You will be greatly missed until we meet again on the other side.

You passing is not a thing to be sad about, yes we here will miss you but now you get to be reunited with everyone you have been missing for all these years. May your spirit sore as you wait for us to be reunited with you once again. I love you grandma dot. Now you can get some much needed rest.

To a wonderful, kind, generous, funny & loving lady that I had the greatest pleasure to know and call my second Mum. To both of my daughters Daphne and Angela, she was Grandma H. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Harris family on the loss of Dorothy. She will be sadly missed but remembered always and never forgotten. As far back as I can remember, which was probably 3-4 years old I first met April and her family when we both lived on Riverdale Ave., as neighbours. April and I quickly became friends and were inseparable. Throughout my entire life Dorothy soon became my second Mum when I had trouble at home and took me in and treated me as her daughter. Over the next 40+ years we spent many holidays and birthday's together and I have the fondest memories of her that I will hold close to my heart. She was the strongest woman that I've ever known and was always there for her family. We spent so many hours talking about life and she was always there for me when I needed her, she was the best listener. She will be sadly missed but we will never stop loving her. It was an honor to call her Mum & Grandma H. May you rest in peace Dorothy & now heaven has the most beautiful Angel. With love always Susan, Daphne and Angela Suarez (Smardenkas). Fay & Harry Petrev (Smardenkas) also send their condolences to the Harris family.

Mama. I remember meeting u when I was 4 then we lost touch for a bit but found each other again . My favourite memory of u is when my mom would make me lunches and I would come to your place and u and dad would always have your favourite pancakes ready for April and me and my lunch would go to silver, then my mom found out so She never made me another lunch, and I remember u always making sure we were ready for school on time cause u always said u need to be there on time or earlier so u never fall behind, You have always been there for me when I needed u and I'm proud that all my children got to grow up with You and having them call u Grandma Dot ...Love and Miss You Mama .
