Dorothy McLean Jardine Lindsay

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Lindsay announces her passing on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Linsday, loving mother of Janet Barbara Lindsay, cherished sister of the late Margaret "Greta" Carrick (place of origin - Scotland). Dorothy and her daughter Janet were extremely close, enjoying traveling, conversing, and partaking in many common interests together. Dorothy will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends in the community. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and thoughts. A visitation will be held at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (At Main Subway Station), on Friday, February 2nd 2018, from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, from 12-1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to take place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. If desired, the family encourages online messages and memories to be shared.
