Douglas (Cowboy) William Saunders was born on June 1st 1958 to his parents Douglas and Heather Saunders in Toronto, Ontario. He died on August 10 2022 at the age of 64.
Before his health started to decline, Cowboy worked for many years as a chef at Crooks and C’est What. His favourite dish to make was brownies for his daughter Helen.
Even though he showed interest in every sport, his all time favourite was the Toronto Blue Jays. He kept all the ticket stubs of every game he went to, and many more memorabilia.
Cowboy is survived by his mother Heather, 3 sisters; Bonnie, Carol and Susan, 2 daughters; Helen and Patricia, and 6 grandchildren; Danté, Devonté, Demar, Darrius, Daxon and Dominic, along with the rest of the family and friends.
Doug’s Funeral service will be held at Jerrett’s Funeral Home at 660 Kennedy Rd, SCARBOROUGH ON . Viewing will be held from 11 am - 1 pm followed by a service on Sunday August 28, 2022
