Edward was predeceased by his devoted wife of 62 years, Pauline Jackson (nee James) and is survived by his loving daughter, Kathryn Mary.
Affectionately know as " Jake " throughout his life, he was an avid athlete in his youth. Hockey, football, baseball and rowing for the Argonaut Rowing Club were among his many passions.
His career was successfully held in Finance, which eventually lead his daughter, Kathy, to follow in his footsteps.
After retirement, and many years beyond that, he spent his time as a support driver with Seniors for Seniors for their elderly clients in need of assistance for appointments and day to day chores. This may have been his most satisfying work.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery in Toronto.
