Passed away peacefully at Christie Gardens on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Beloved mother of Gordon, Heather and Janet. Mother-in-law to Jan and Shoukry, grandmother to Todd, Tim, Megan and Meredith and great-grandmother to Megan, Lauren, Ashley, Zachery, Grace, Aya and Orli. She will be deeply missed as well by her brother-in-law Tom and his wife Lila and their family. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families, as well as by the Luangraj family, Somphu, Phuong, David and Amanda. Her good friends at Murray Street Church in Peterborough have never forgotten her and have been including her in their prayers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Christie Gardens for their loving care over the years and the doctors at St. Michael's Hospital, especially Dr. George for their competence and compassion.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Avenue in Toronto. Visitation at 11 a.m. and memorial service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christie Gardens, Murray Street Baptist Church or the CIBC Breast Centre at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto.
