Loving husband to Maria for 63 years and proud father to Walter (Lori), Roy (Nelly) and Vivian (Silvano). Predeceased by brothers Novilio (Maria) and Agostino (Michelina) and survived by Adelchi, Fermino, and Anna Maria. Dear grandfather to Christopher, Rachel, Nicole, Selina, Sabrina, Mark, and David. Born in Casarsa, Italy, on March 18, 1933, Eligio immigrated to Toronto in 1951 where soon after he met his wife and began their beautiful life together. Eligio was treasured by his friends and family, and will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening, dancing, playing cards and spending time with family. The family would like to thank Toronto Western Hospital and Humber River Hospital for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Toronto Western Hospital or Humber River Hospital.
