Passed away in her 93rd year on October 2, 2012, former teacher with the East York Board of Education. Predeceased by her husband John David Beard. Mother of David (Jean) of Aurora, Donald (Heather) of Toronto, and William (Janice) of Thornhill. Grandmother to Adam, Jennifer, Jessica, Ashley and Stephanie. Dear sister of Ruth, Edith (predeceased) and William (predeceased). The family thanks the wonderful and caring staff at Thorne Mill on Steeles for the excellent care given to our mother these last 4 years. A private family service to celebrate mom’s life will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Giffen Mack Funeral Home 2570 Danforth Ave Toronto.
