It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Liz in her sleep at home after a long brawl with cancer on November 10, 2018 at the young age of 48. Liz will be forever loved and greatly missed by her mother Janet and predeceased by her father Victor (2000). She will be fondly remembered and missed sorrowfully by her daughter Callie (Brent), her fur-babies Isla and Billy, and the great friends she made through her years of dedication at WJ Properties. Lizbeth/Sister to Patty (John) and Chris. Liz enjoyed the great outdoors, women’s soccer, Blue Rodeo, and Canada. She was a strong and dedicated woman to those whom she fiercely loved and taught those who knew her well how to enjoy life to it’s fullest, even in the smallest ways. Though she never asked for anything, thank you to the beautiful friends who showed up and gave back to Liz despite being told there is nothing to do. She loved you all so much. Thank you to the Nurses and Doctors that cared for Liz, you are inspirations for future generations of healthcare professionals. As per her wishes, she will be cremated. A celebration will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home on November 17th from 2-4pm with speeches beginning at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Liz’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, University Health Network, or make a big difference in the life of someone you know by volunteering your time to help. Here’s to strong people: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.
