

Elizabeth Joan Bullen, née Glean, also known as ‘Aunt Joan’ and ‘Sister Bullen’ to many, passed away peacefully in Toronto, Canada, on December 26, 2012, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph, her daughter, Leslie-Ann Smith, her sister Evelyn Moore and brother Vaughan Glean. Loving mother of Edward (Eddie) Bullen and Johnny Bullen, step-mother of Roslyn Bullen, proud granny of Edward Smith, Quincy Bullen, Tre-Michael Bullen, Kayla Bullen, Ian Desvignes, and Disa Desvignes, cherished great-granny of Jahleah, Jaden, Jayvian, Kyelah, Cierra, and Jaden. Mother-in-law of Clayton Smith and Joan Desvignes-Bullen and much loved sister of Florian Altfuldisch and sister-in-law Rita Glean. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews including Joslyn Banfield and Donna Goldson, her adopted niece Linette George, close friend Barbara Alleyne of Trinidad, the Bullen and Bonaparte families of Grenada, the Glean family in Grenada, Trinidad and Toronto, the Batson family in the UK, many other cousins, grand-nieces/nephews and friends, her First Alliance Church family and members of the Upper Lucas Street Berean Bible Church in Grenada. Family and friends are invited to call at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 from 5 until 9 p.m. and to celebrate her home-going on Thursday, January 03, 2013 at the First Alliance Church, 3250 Finch Avenue East, at 11 a.m. Internment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
