Died peacefully at Loretto Infirmary, on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Sister Elizabeth was in the 85th year of her life and her 65th year as a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters). Predeceased by her parents John Carrigan Fitzpatrick and Mary Elizabeth Schallert, and her sister Carol. Elizabeth is survived by her brother John (Maureen), nephews Sean (Sherry) and Michael (Stacey) and much loved grandnieces Arowyn and Greer, and grandnephews Callan and Riley. Sister was a long-time teacher at Loretto Abbey Secondary School Toronto [1956-1991], where she also served as Principal [1965-1973]. Friends may gather in the Chapel at Loretto Abbey, 101 Mason Boulevard, Toronto, on Friday, April 10 at 11 am for the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place at 2 pm at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
