Smith: Elizabeth Anne (Liz)-It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and daughter, Liz at the age of 51 on January 20, 2009 at her residence in Toronto. Born on January 28, 1957 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Curtis Smith and the late Edythe Audrey (Wathen) Smith. Liz lived most of her life in Toronto and loved it. Liz was proud to be a valued and loyal employee of the Royal Bank for the past 8 years. She is survived by her brother Donald (Ilona) of Port Maitland, Nova Scotia and she will also be lovingly remembered and missed by her dear best friends Lianne McDonald (Peterborough) and Gillian McRae (Georgetown). Friends may visit at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel 467 Sherbourne St. (South of Wellesley) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday at 10 a.m. Liz will be laid to rest in Tusket, Nova Scotia at a later date.
