Emmeline Marie Wales

Born in Toronto on November 11, 1934. She passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in her 82nd year. Daughter of the late Marie (nee Taylor) and William "Louis" Deas. Daughter-in-law of the late Mattie Wales. Survived by her husband Norris Wales. Sister of Caroline (Sam) Roberts, Patricia Johnson and the late Thelma (Sonny) Kinney. Dedicated mother of Ronald, Vera and Marie. She will be missed by her daughter-in-law Suzanne and grandchildren Joshua (Tasnine) and Aaron (Morgan) Charles, Martin (Elishia) and Mary-Claire (Melissa) Wales. She was excited by the arrival of her great-grandchildren Kayel, Aaron Jr. and Harmony Charles, Darius and Addison Wales, Jakhai and Trevell, also nieces and nephews Vicky, Denise, Cheryl, Jeffrey, Gregory, Warren, Michael and Jamie.

Emmeline Wales was a marvelous woman. She worked tirelessly to support her family. She had a creative spirit, knitting and sewing were among her passions. She was warm, funny with a generous heart that touched all who knew her. She will be missed but her goodness will live on in our hearts. Her life will be celebrated at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario and the Hospital for Sick Children in Emmeline's memory.
