Our nonno and I was a very humble man who loved us very much. He always wanted the best for his grandsons and was happy to hear about our ongoing success. Our nonno would always take us to the nearby park, tell us hilarious stories and play some classic Italian card games known as "Ciuccio" and Briscola. We gave him a run for his money when we learned to play Briscola better, but he would always come out on top, giving us a few sympathy games to win.

We'll never forget our nonno's infectious smile, upbeat personality and ongoing desire to stay motivated, as he was able to enjoy 26 years of retirement and didn't waste a second of it. We will never forget our nonno and hope he is now resting peacefully.

RIP Nonno

My dearest & sweetest late Uncle Zio Rico lived a long & wonderful life. A lifetime that a few of us may never see. He lived to see 91. He was kind, caring and loving to anyone he met throughout his life. The last of 3 brothers to settle here in Canada, he lived a humble life with the simplest of things. Never looking for more or better. Being humble and content with what he had. This was the embodiment of all my uncles and my late dad. They had a solid upbringing and were taught respect before anything or anyone. I can happily say that he will be reunited with my dad, and many of the other siblings who have passed this earth. If thereโ€™s one thing I can take from him with pride is that he loved a good solid argument about politics. And be prepared, you would have lost the battle but would have taken away some knowledge. Zio ti voglio tante ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ bene.
Zio ti amo moltissimo. Ti auguro un sereno riposo. Mentre il viaggio verso il paradiso attende, molti ti aspetteranno a braccia aperte. Vai in pace. Rest In Peace.

Deepest condolences to Luciano, Gino, Mama and family.

No matter how old we are we are never ready to say good bye.

I will always remember him puttering in the garden and explaining to me how much better home grown tomatoes are and the benefits of having your own garden.

He is now pain free , may he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
