Eugenio is predeceased by his parents Nicola and Rosina Tallerico. The second youngest of his six siblings the late Antonio, Nicola, Lauretta, Giuseppe, and Romolo.
He came to Canada in 1955 in search of opportunity and a better life. He attended night school to learn English. He started his working career in construction but went on to obtain his motor/machinery mechanics license. He spent most of his career working for Crawford Sand and Gravel where he had the opportunity of working with his brother, Giuseppe. When the company dissolved he completed his working days with Finch Paving.
Eugenio married Franca Pristerà on December 2, 1961. They had 3 children.
He is the loving Father of Rosella (Michael), Nick, and Cathy.
Cherished Grandfather of Nicole and Mark.

Eugenio worked hard to provide for this family. Sundays were always committed to his family for various memorable outings and day trips.
Eugenio was a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey fan and enjoyed playing Italian card games with family and friends. Making homemade wine and tomato sauce were annual traditions but he was especially proud of his vegetable garden.
He will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of his family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 3pm – 8:30pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave .W.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated:
•Permitted gathering sizes inside a building for funeral visitation and chapel services, will be up to 30% of the maximum room capacities (excluding funeral staff) while maintaining the six foot physical distancing rule. •To ensure safety and minimize potential spread of COVID-19, this Registrar’s Directive sets new restrictions for gatherings at cemeteries within those three public health unit boundaries, effective Monday, Sept. 21: Cemeteries within the boundaries of the Ottawa, Peel and Toronto public health units must limit attendance to a maximum of 25 people (not counting funeral staff) at all attendances, funerals, visitations, funeral receptions, and graveside services on cemetery property. •Further to the Registrar’s Guidance issued on June 15, 2020, wearing masks or face coverings is mandatory for all persons (funeral staff and attendees) inside all funeral establishments or any other indoor setting where a funeral or visitation is held
The Funeral Home staff will be responsible for monitoring these numbers and will be collecting contact information from each visitor, as per the Health Authority’s guidelines.
