Ferruccio was my neighbour on the street that I grew up on in Toronto. I have known him since I was 6 yrs old. Ferruccio became my Dad’s best friend over the years. Ferruccio had a great love for the outdoors.He introduced my dad and my family to Caswells Trailer Park and he was my next door neighbour there as well. He passed on the love of going up North for fishing , hunting and outdoor adventure to his son Silvio. My brother and Silvio also became best of friends to this day. My whole family went up to Caswells Trailer park for more than 30 yrs and created memories that I will never forget. He always greeted us with a smile when we arrived ever weekend in the summertime! His grandchildren Christopher, Steven and Michael became friends to my children Rachel and Thomas.
 Thank-you Ferruccio for so many memories that I will cherish In my heart ❤️🙏

A Tribute To Nonno Part II

As everyone knows, Nonno was a true outdoorsman and was perfectly content just being outside looking at his beloved lawn, flowers and garden if he could not be up north or hunting with his friends.  If he wasn’t outside you can be rest assured that the TV was on blast with wrestling, hockey or the wildlife channel on.   

Nonno,  you fought a fight that no one else could, for as long as you did.  I wish you could have been here longer with us so your Nini Belli could truly see how much of an amazing Bisnonno you were, and I know he gave you an extra boost for life and a will to fight for as long as you did.  But it was time.  I know you are reunited with Nonna and everyone else up there, partying it up.  Nonno, I promise you your legacy will live on forever, not just through me and our family, but through every single person you encountered and the great memories they share with you.  

You were more than just my Nonno to me, and you knew that.  I love you Nonno, Rest In Peace, la música e finita.  

A Tribute To Nonno

We said our final farewell to my Nonno, our Superman.  

Son, Brother, Father, Zio, Nonno and Bisnonno are a few of the titles he has carried, but a true gentleman is the one everyone has come to know.  

As difficult as it is to hold back the tears, I can reassure you he would not want us here crying.  He would want us to be celebrating that he isn’t in pain any longer and that he is at peace.  

Nonno was always the coolest guy with the most swag I have ever known.  He was always ready for a party, ready to dance and have a good time.  He was always ready to go out, no matter how bad he was feeling.  

Before you could say let’s go, he would have his jacket, sunglasses and Swiss Army cologne that you could smell from 30 feet away on.  If he could have been out 24/7 he would have been.  He never passed on an invitation to go somewhere he loved being.  He simply just had a love and lust for life that was second to none.  He loved his family and friends and never made anyone feel like they were unwanted or not welcome.  He always made everyone feel like they knew him forever with his infectious smile and charismatic personality.  

He never complained and was always content.  Everything was always ok and more than that he was always ok, no matter what.  

You could always turn to him for advice and talk to him about anything at anytime.  His famous words when you were down were, “did I ever sit you down and tell you life was easy?” I will never forget the advice that he has given me and what he said to me the day his Nini Belli, Claudio, was born.  He was holding him beside me and said, adesso tu sai, now you know.  And I did.  It all made sense.  What it was all about.

Daddy Nonno Ferruccio had a great love for the outdoors. He passed on that love of fishing, hunting and camping onto his son Silvio and his grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, and Michael. We all shared so many weekend memories with Nonno Ferruccio and Nonna Olga.  Daddy Nonno Ferruccio the memories will live within our hearts forever. We will miss you dearly and love you forever in our hearts. ❤️Rest In Peace🙏🏻 

We have been lucky to have known  Ferruccio for the past 20 years and shared many wonderful times and shots of grappa together. 
Ferruccio was a strong, charismatic, warm hearted man with a big smile.  To his daughter Liliana, Fabio and families, may the memories of Ferruccio live within your hearts and help you through this difficult time.  We will miss him dearly.

When I think of Ferruccio, I remember all the great times we had up north with our families. I remember all the old stories of Italy and all the jokes around our fire, these memories are cherished. My dad and Ferruccio were always together, finding things to do around the  trailers. Many birthdays were celebrated together and fond memories made. 
The Colbertaldo and Cardillo Families will miss you very much. Rest In Peace, Ferruccio.💕

The coolest man, with the most swag that is always ready to party and to have a good time.  Your legacy will live on forever.  Rest In Paradise Superman.  I hope you are partying with everyone up there.  Love you Nonno. 

Worked with Fogal for many yrs in the Parks Department for the City Of York a trusted friend you could depend on and would stand by your side through good and tough times. His word was his bond and he would never back down if he knew he was right. I will miss my buddy and the times we shared with his wife and family at the trailer .Good travels my friend the Lord awaits for you.
