Garry was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Kathy Lawrence, as well as his cherished parents, Lynne and Garry Lawrence Sr. While our hearts take comfort in knowing they are reunited again, the loss of Garry leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the lives of those who loved him.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his siblings Bill (Kim), Angie (Shane), and Tommy, along with his extended family, dear friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Garry was the kind of person who could light up any room he walked into. He had the biggest heart and a way of making everyone around him laugh, smile, and feel welcome. Whether he was singing karaoke, cheering on his favourite sports teams, or proudly scorekeeping for his nephews’ baseball team and the Regent Park team, Garry found joy in bringing people together and making memories that will never be forgotten.
His faith was an important part of his life, and he found peace and happiness attending church on Sundays. Above all else, Garry was a loving brother, uncle, friend, and gentle soul whose kindness touched more people than he likely ever realized.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every laugh, every story, and every moment shared with him. Garry’s love, humor, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Forever loved. Forever missed
