Mr. George Wesley Doxsee

Peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2013, George Wesley Doxsee, aged 93, went to be with his Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his loving wife Eileen of 66 years, by his brother Albion and two sisters, Vena Doxsee and Dorothy Martin, and by great granddaughter Rebecca Coukell. He will be deeply missed by his 3 children Carol (Ross) Campbell, Harry (Lois) Doxsee of Toronto and Sharon (Doug) Hayes of Vancouver, his 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Throughout his life George showed amazing energy and incredible dedication to his family and deep faith. In addition to many years as a devoted husband, father and chiropractor, he tirelessly volunteered at his church, High Park Baptist, and other Christian ministries including Child Evangelism Fellowship, the Christian Business Men’s Committee and Sermons From Science. His life passion for ministry culminated in his founding leadership of Partners International Canada.

Friends and relatives will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, (61 Beverly Hills Dr., 1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm; and 10:00 am - 10:45 am at the church prior to the service. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, January 14, 2013 at REXDALE ALLIANCE CHURCH (2459 Islington Ave., south of Albion Rd.). Burial to follow at GLENDALE MEMORIAL GARDENS (1810 Albion Rd., at Hwy #27). Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Partners International Canada or to a charity of your choice in George’s memory.
