There are so many wonderful stories about what a beautiful, kind and loving soul Gerry was. We met when we were 15 years old and instantly became best friends and kindred spirits. We completely adored each other and held each other up, knowing each other’s secrets and heart’s desires. I loved it when he would tilt his head up and burst out laughing, well it was kinda a roar. His giggles were infectious and his warm hugs were all embracing. His soul didn’t judge. Sending my deepest condolences to Karl, mama Margret and all the Boushel family (I spent countless hours at their home for sleep overs and family meals )and friends who will miss him dearly. How does one sum up working with someone for 20 years?  
Charismatic, mischievous, fun-loving...and a man who loved life with a passion.  At times it seemed like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders; both its highs and lows - never short to offer comment with wit and a glint in his eye.  

Simply put, Gerry loved.

I am so sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing.
Many years ago I had the pleasure to work with him to create amazing print jobs for projects I was working on! He was always a pleasure to work with! More importantly I will never forget the amazing nights with Don and Sandy where my sides hurt so bad from laughing! He can now join Frank so the laughs can continue! My condolences to Raymond and family my thoughts are with you all! 

Hard to believe. 

I can still hear Gerry’s laugh/cackle, you couldn’t help but laugh non-stop when around him. I met him while working at Holts and no matter how hard or ridiculous the installation was that we were challenged with, Gerry would always figure it out and pull it off! He saved the day more times than I can remember and I could always count on him. 

Such a HUGE heart in so many ways!

I was so saddened to hear the news of Gerry’s passing. 
A life taken too soon…..
I knew Gerry through my many years of working at Harry Rosen (in Vancouver).  I was fortunate to be able to travel to Toronto often for work and because of my friendship with Sandy, I got to know Gerry.  He had a larger than life personality,…. a smile and a laugh that I will never forget.

So sad to hear the news of Gerry's passing. It's far too soon for someone who was one of the kindest and funniest people I have known.
