Giovanna passed away peacefully in her home with her family and friends by her side. Her final days were spent peacefully as she was comforted by the warmth and love of her family and friends who never left her side through her tireless battle with her rare form of cancer, myelofibrosis. Unfortunately, her rare form of cancer had no available treatments for her, but faith, strength, and courage, together with her constant love of her family and friends had her defy the odds as she continued to fight, as Time is Life. Giovanna valued and nurtured every moment she was given to be with her children, grandchildren and close family and friends.
Giovanna was born May 1st, 1946 in Pratola Serra, Avellino, Italy to parents Luigi and Grazia (nee Paladino). Giovanna leaves behind her beloved husband Mario. Proud Mother to Tina (Mike), Anthony (Voula) and Nick (Kerry). May she be the guardian angel to her grandchildren Gianluca, Julia, Joseph, Olivia, and Alessandra. She is reunited in heaven with her siblings Raffaele, Eugenio, Carmine and Letizia. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Maria and Carmela.
She will be missed by her many friends, family, relatives and all who knew her. The family would like to thank all for their love and support in their time of need.
