Giovanni Strazzeri

Giovanni was born on July 16, 1940 in Delia, Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy to Carmelo and Gaetana. He has been called to God’s kingdom on October 23, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 83 years.

He is the loving husband of Carmela (nee Di Pasquale). They spent 54 years together experiencing all that the world has to offer. She will treasure all of their memories.

Giovanni the cherished father of Carmelo (Celia), Gaetana (George) and Calogero (Lisa). He is also the proud nonno of Alessandro, Gemma, Siena Jo, Gianmatteo, and Arya Rose.

He has been reunited with his siblings; Concetta, Giuseppina, Carmelo, Giacomo, Melchiore, Giuseppe, and Maria.

He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on October 26, 2023 from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm and October 27, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.

The Funeral Mass will be on October 28, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Clare’s Church (1118 St. Clair Ave. W. Toronto). (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service)

Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W).
