Giovanni Ursitti

Giovanni Ursitti was born on May 1, 1941 in Villetta Barrea, L’Aquila, Italy and passed away on December 16, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 82 years. He has been reunited in heaven with his wife, late Rita (2000). Loving father of Francesco (Gardella) and Antonio (Jennifer). Devoted nonno of Alessia and Luca. Cherished son of the late Salvatore and late Clara. Predeceased by his brothers; Leonardo, Vincenzo, Gerardo, and Giuseppe. Giovanni was an avid gardener, soccer fan, and never took life for granted; he was always one to prioritize physical and mental wellbeing. He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on December 20, 2023 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on December 21, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Nicholas of Bari Church (1277 St. Clair Ave. W. Toronto). (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service). Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W.).
