Sept. 22, 1929 (Ceprano, Frosinone, Italy)-Dec. 31, 2011 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Joe, after a brief battle with leukemia, at Mount Sinai Hospital, in his 83rd year. Dearest husband of 57 years to Teresa. Loving Papa to Marcella (Tom Kartos) and Mary (Pat Valente). Beloved Nonno to Alexander, Philip, Alyssa, and Andrew. Survived by brothers Vittorio (Maria) and Pietro (Franca) in Italy; and aunt Angela in Rhode Island. Joe will be greatly missed by his large extended family and friends in Canada, Italy, and in the United States. Friends and relatives will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at OUR LADY OF VICTORY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (117 Guestville Ave., south of Eglinton Ave., west of Weston Rd.). Entombment to follow at the QUEEN OF HEAVEN CATHOLIC CEMETERY (7300 Hwy #27, south of Hwy #7).
