I am lucky enough to maintain a lot of old friends from when Joey and i were kids .... The time has passed so quickly since Joey has passed on but... I think of him often .... Mrs Palumbo... Susan .... Richard....Daniel and Mary-Anne.... Understand that in his life he was very loved and his legacy lives on through all that has shared his life ... That last outing we had that some of the old park crowd came out was was truly a memorable time.... And his words to me were.... Blythe.... Listen....You have to be happy.... All I can tell you is... i have made huge changes over this year.... I have chose to ..listen...and be happy and I'm sure Joey smiles down on me... With that big beautiful smile knowing.... That i have come full circle....

I was his student at Chaminade. The passion and humour with which he taught is unforgettable. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his spirit. May we all meet him again someday and share in his joyful way.

Student of good olde Cham from '84-'89 and do remember Joe as being an energetic powerhouse of economics (had his class on the 1st floor north-east-most side of school). Almost sat through a full run on the movie 'Wall Street' until he found out it had some, aheemn, compromising scenes. :)

Deepest sympathizes to the family on your loss. He certainly did make his mark on MANY a student!

I was a student of Joe at Chaminade. He was a great teacher. Decided to look him up only to find of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Mary-Ann, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your brother. Although I never met Joe, looking through the pictures I can see that he had a very happy, fulfilling life. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Andrea Antoniow (Walsh).

My thoughts and prayers go to the family of Joe Palumbo.
Joe was a good friend and a passionate person when he took on an issue.
He was an active member of the Toronto Secondary Unit (OECTA).
It was always a pleasure working with him. I will miss him and his hardy laughter.
I was looking forward to sailing with Joe and his new sail boat in this world.
But, it appears that God needed him in heaven, he too needed a buddy to sail with.
“Till the next time we see each other Joe!” In the meantime I will miss your company here on earth.
Please say hello to my mom Ida in heaven.
You friend from near and far,
Frank Bruno
