Harold was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia on December 6th 1946. He was the son of Margaret and Augustus Groves.
He came to Toronto as a young man.
He worked as a shipper/receiver for various companies his whole working life. He met Anne, fell in love and got married. They had three children, Harold Jr., Mary-Ann and Joe. His family grew over the years to include his son in law Roy and daughters in law Joanne and Liz. He was very loved by his grandchildren Maya, Evelyn, Lauren, Marcus, Eric, Oliver and Sophie.
Harold always brought us so much joy. He always had the greatest advice, always there to talk with and was always there to help whenever needed. He was the most friendliest man to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by whoever knew him.
