It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Bekiaris, who died peacefully at the age of 79 after a brief battle with cancer. Born on October 26, 1945, in the village of Besphina, Macedonia, Helen lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Helen was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted son, Peter, her daughter-in-law, Christine, and her two adored grandsons, Christopher and Michael, who brought her immense pride and joy. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Chris, whose memory she cherished deeply as well as parents, Risto and Trendafilka, sisters, Politina and Cila and brother Yani.

Known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and nurturing presence, Helen touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her quiet wisdom, her love of tradition, and the deep care she gave to her loved ones.

A visitation for Helen will be held Friday, July 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1.

A memorial lunch will be held afterward at Floga Estiatorio, 1957 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough.
