Helen Chudy

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Helen on January 11, 2013 in her ninety-third year.

She was the beloved wife of Walter for 74 years and the much loved mother of Irene (husband Paul), Sylvia, Carol, Richard (wife Robin), and Valerie. She was predeceased by her daughter Veronica.

She was the loving grandmother to eight grandchildren, Tim (wife Julie), Rick (wife Joanne), David, Jason (wife Moon), Christine (husband Joe), Brandon (wife Joyce), Amy, and Jordan; and six great grandchildren, James, Benjamin, Shannon, Ian, Megan, and Matthew. She will be lovingly remembered by us all.

Family and friends will be received at Jerrett Funeral Home 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough 416-266-4404 on Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2013.

Donations may be made in Helen’s name in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Port Perry Hospital on Paxton Rd. in Port Perry.

We would like to thank the staff at Port Perry Hospital for looking after our mother so kindly.
