Herman Desmond Peters
By now most of you may know that early Sunday morning our friend, brother, father, uncle, and most esteemed child of God, Desmond Peters, passed peacefully at St. Mike’s palliative care unit after a lengthy illness.
The funeral details are very simple at his request. We will have a home-going celebration service at Grant AME Church on Monday, November 23 at 11am followed by a repast to be held in the fellowship hall immediately after service.
There will be no interment as he requested cremation to be carried out by Giffen-Mack Funeral Home.
I am asking that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Grant AME Church in his memory.
