Passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 85. She joins Takeshi, her husband of 58 years, who passed away last year. Loving and devoted mother to Harry and Lillian. She is also survived by family in Japan, her brother Takashi Muneo, her nephews Hajime Matsumoto, and Izumi Matsumoto (Hitori and Kae). She will be rejoining her sisters Hisako Matsumoto, Chiyoko Muneo, brother in-law Tomosaburo “Tsuneyuki” Matsumoto, sister in-law Ikuko Muneo, mother Cho Muneo, and father Koji Muneo.
She loved quilting, knitting, and enjoyed sewing her own outfits.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Michael Garron Hospital, and Atrium at Kew Beach Retirement Residence, for the care they provided.
A small memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 904 Coxwell Ave, East York, where she was an active member, on May 7 at 10 AM.
